AnneMarie Spellman McDevitt
AnneMarie Spellman McDevitt began practicing law in 2001. She is highly regarded in the area of Iowa Workers’ Compensation law and has vast experience and knowledge regarding the recent changes in Iowa Workers’ Compensation law. AnneMarie has also practiced in the area of personal injury law and probate. She has served on the Iowa Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Committee and is a member in the Iowa Association for Justice (formerly the Iowa Trial Lawyers Association) in their workers’ compensation section. She is past President of the Dallas County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice and handles cases in the State of Iowa Courts and US District Courts. AnneMarie received her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Creighton University School of Law in 2001 and her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Iowa in 1998.
AnneMarie has served on a wide variety of volunteer boards and positions in the community of Perry including the St. Patrick Catholic School Board, Perry Kiwanis Chapter, and the City of Perry Zoning Commission.
AnneMarie Spellman McDevitt has been married to her husband, Matt, for 14 years. They have three children, Sophia, Madeline, and Matthew. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running, attending her children’s school activities, and volunteering on various local community activities.
